As of a few moments ago, the master server was restarted, and now ignores servers that do not report a hostname. As far as I know, only two servers may not have managed to change their hostname in time, only one of which I was not able to contact and warn again today, so most of you will probably notice little if any disruption in service. Soon I will be taking another look at the list to see how things have changed, and possibly reviewing the policy. Server owners may rest assured that I will always leave at least a week"s notice before implementing any further changes, but keep watching this space! |
